Pushing Limits. Building Strength. Mastering the Mind.
Michael Graham is a multi-sport endurance athlete who thrives on the mental and physical challenges of long-distance racing. His passion for pushing limits, embracing discipline, and cultivating resilience has led him to compete in some of the most demanding endurance events in the world.
Michael trains for and competes in Ironman triathlons, racing both the full Ironman 140.6-mile distance (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run) and the Ironman 70.3-mile distance (1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, 13.1-mile run). In addition to Ironman events, he has also competed in numerous Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons, constantly pushing himself to new levels of performance.
His dedication to athletics began in his youth, competing in Varsity Track and Cross Country at Arcadia High School, where he also earned Swim Team MVP honors. His collegiate career led him to Azusa Pacific University’s National Champion Track Team, where he competed in the 800m, 1500m, and the grueling two-day 10-event Decathlon—a true test of endurance, strength, and mental fortitude.
Beyond his own achievements, Michael’s passion for sports extends into coaching and mentorship, from youth baseball and soccer teams to guiding athletes in mental toughness, leadership, and personal discipline. His experiences as a triathlete, track competitor, and coach shape the way he teaches resilience, goal-setting, and high-performance mindset strategies in both sports and life.
Michael knows that self-leadership, preparation, and mental conditioning are just as important as physical strength. The principles of commitment, discipline, effective self-talk, and pushing through limits don’t just apply to athletics—they are universal traits for success in any endeavor. These are the values he brings to his teaching, coaching, and leadership training, helping others develop the mindset and endurance necessary to achieve greatness—on the racecourse and in life.
